Intellectually Sound (I.S. for short) are Portland area natives
that have embraced the underground lifestyle and mentality that
most people in this "game" only talk about in narrative or
falsehood. That is to say; Intellectually Sound is more than
your prosaic Hip-Hop crew trying to make a mark in today's
ever-expanding business of music. Intellectually Sound is
rather a collective effort toward a more attuned and greater
perspective on art, life, and everything that falls between.
Using music as their medium I.S. has catalyzed a movement. A
movement in the direction of intelligence, and a respect for
culture, art, and humanity- in music as well as lifestyle. This
state of awareness is summed up in what they call "Head Hop".
"Head Hop" is a campaign for the evolution of Hip-Hop. Where
Hip-Hop tells you how it is or how it was, Head-Hop provides a
look ahead at how it could be.
